I earned my FAA Part 107 UAS certification in 2022 to gain remote piloting experience in my GIS Technician job with the Dane County Land & Water Resources Department. I accompanied my coworker as a visual observer several times before piloting three PR projects.

I took the two pictures on this page as part of a PR campaign to promote the county's Community Manure Management, which involves storing and processing manure to reduce phosphorus runoff, concentrate nutrients for fertilizer, produce clean water, and create other useful by-products.

This is a video I took promoting the county's Continuous Cover Program, which helps landowners fund the cultivation of continuous cover vegetation. Continuous coverage offers a number of ecological benefits. The video shows continuous coverage with native prairie vegetation.
