Drought Analysis of the Kinnickinnic Watershed
This presentation came from the culmination of my work for the Watershed Analysis and Modeling course at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, taught by my graduate advisor Dr. Woonsup Choi in Autumn 2023.
This course introduced me to methods like DEM filling, channel creation tools, upslope functions, flow exceedance calculations, drought thresholds, drought pooling, and NSE calculations.
In this course, I was assigned to the highly urbanized Kinnickinnic River in Milwaukee. During the semester, I completed assignments that contributed to my overall drought analysis of the watershed.
